Con questa birra il Birrificio Decimoprimo segna il suo debutto nel panorama brassicolo italiano. 

Il birraio rende omaggio alla nazione con la storia brassicola forse più importante in assoluto. Ispirata alle India Pale Ale inglesi, la D-Day ricalca i canoni di questo stile, seppur con qualche digressione sul tema. 

Una colorazione leggermente ramata e opalescente, un corpo medio ed il sapore maltato vanno a supportare una generosa luppolatura di luppoli inglesi e americani, conferendole un sostanziale bilanciamento dell'amaro che tuttavia indugia nel finale.

The D-day stands for Decimoprimo Day , the day it made its debut into the italian beer world.
The brewer wanted to pay tribute the nation with the most important beer history. This beer was inspired by the exacting standards of british India Pale but with some differences.
An opalescent auburn colour,  a consistent head and a thin body characterize this beer. The malt flavour is generously balanced by English and American hops.
